Bu PCI-8232 GPIB Controller and Gigabit Ethernet Port Module by Ulusal Enstrümanlar adds an IEEE 488 interface within the one-slot PCI board, which saves the user a slot in their PC. This GPIB Control Module is compatible with 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet networks. The PCI-8232 has two part numbers: the PCI-8232 for Windows Vista/XP/2000 (Part number: 778742-01) and the PCI-8232 for Windows Me/98/NT (Part number: 778743-01).

Bu NI PCI-8232 can be operated when the user is required to control GPIB instruments and add a network connection to their system. The Gigabit Ethernet interface on the PCI-8232 has transfer rates of 1,000 Mbits/s maximum (1000BASE-T), NI-488.2 driver software for Windows, and is fully compatible with IEEE 488. The interfaces on the GPIB Control Module will automatically connect at the highest possible speed and can sustain the optimum performance even as the user’s network conditions change. Additionally, the Ethernet Controller will enhance the performance of challenging desktop applications through the duplex feature. Furthermore, the NI PCI-8232 has Auto-MDI negotiation, which enables the Ethernet port to connect via crossover and straight-through cables.
